I originally discovered Avery McClure’s work via Sierra Lash’s newsletter and instantly fell in love with his off-kilter comedy. Shortly after this, I went to the opening night of his new show, meaning & nuance at the Clubhouse here in LA and was blown away by his warmth and courage not only as an artist but also as a person. He instantly felt like a friend and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to talk in depth with him about being from the South, the internet, God and audacity.
